Presentation at FIRST 2006
I gave a presentation yesterday at the 18th annual FIRST conference. The title of the presentation was Designing and Developing an Application for Incident Response Teams.
My overall impression of the conference up to now is that the quality of the speakers is disappointing, and that the variety of topics is limited. Given the (regular) conference fee of $1650, I feel that I am not getting enough value-for-money.
Having said that, meeting the people here, and interacting with them, is something that mostly offsets the value-for-money issue. People are literaly from all over the world (if I remember correctly, almost 30 countries are represented here).
